- An Ancient Egyptian Phrase Useful for Enhancing Spiritual Work & Meditations
Picture
I've been using this phrase for signing my book and because it fits so well into that trek into ancient Egyptian mysticism, the occult and psychic adventure, I thought it was time to share its meaning and use once again for the Sept. blog. unique and appropriate for entering through the gates of Fall Equinox and preparing for the chill that brings frost to the pumpkins and indoor fun (like reading and spiritual meditation/work). So, enjoy the ideas that I hope this ancient phrase will spark for you; the breathing technique to enhance your personal evolution and inspire deeper meditation through this technique. Have a Glass of Early Cider (or Fall Wine) and . . . go for it!

SA SEKHEM SAHU
--
the mantra associated with Sekhmet. Repeat it to produce altered states, recite “SA SEKHEM SAHU” – on the exhale and “Hu” space on the exhale – breeding in the strength, the power, the passion of Sekhmet with every breath.

SA – the breath of life; the sa is the life force, the breath of life that comes into the human body at conception.

SEKHEM – power; the word means power the word has also been associated with energy, particularly kundalini. Sekhem is the power that animates the Sahu. It is the power that leads one to spiritual consciousness.

SAHU – the spiritual body; Sahu, the spiritual body, one of the five bodies of each human according to Egyptian cosmology. Sekhem is associated with the awakening of the five bodies, particularly the Sahu – the Sahu was made conscious through spiritual practice. The awakening of the Sahu is the ultimate stage of the integration of the five bodies, culminating in becoming a realized human.

The mantra, Sa Sekhem Sahu – is translated one way as
“with each breath, divine strength enters my highest being.”
