CHANNELING of June 20, 2020 - by Anita Merrick/Crystal Wind
Let me make a note here: The original message from Anubis (Anpu) of June 20th during the Global Prayer Circle occurred as posted in Part I here. Then two days later, I received another visitation of sorts by Anubis. Because I have worked with this archetype for a long time, the Part II style is similar in context but seemed appropriate to include the inspiration of describing his appearance. Clearly, both parts have a link to each other, but I chose to separate them because of the change in presentation. I apologize in advance for any confusion caused by the obvious difference in style between message parts.

PART I:
Oh, great jackal, Anubis has come, mysterious way-shower neter that I call friend and guide.
He is the one who leads the way ever through storm, strife, doubts and darkest fear.
He arrives again with his midnight fur, which is gleaming with moonlight and star shine.
Anubis, the most ancient, wise teacher and shower of the way no matter how dark the night.
He asks only that we follow the tracks he leaves for us in the ancient sands of the heart.
I look down at his claw pointed footprints stamped like a pathway mapping thru the strangeness.
Anubis calls for everyone eagerly willing to seek a new way of journeying forward in time
Let all come and walk these ancient trails with pure trust as the heart’s solitary compass.
Even as Truth remains too flexible for our trusting, see how the seasons teach rightful change.
On this Solstice day of seasonal equality and earthly rebalancing across a globe in turmoil
So many human hearts seek a reckoning to come with the warming of the summer sun.
Anubis offers us freshened steps and promises that he will show the way into whatever comes next.
The fear, the pain, the sickness, the uncertainty, the unwanted changes and the overwhelming shifting
Cannot yet be simply halted or understood, at least, not yet as Anubis assures with a toothy fanged grin
that he will never lose us our shameful, damaged souls in the desert we have traversed so long.
He knows it is not yet near the finish of this strangely and unwanted track and offers an oasis
for our minds to find a place to rest and drink deeply of water refreshed by this pause of time.
Though we may learn to rest here, believing it is a safe place where we may hide from all pain.
Alas, we have only rest stops along this journey for it is a long road and not yet finished.
Anubis has the knowing of where our feet may be placed least, we fall away from our wisdom.
Least we fall away from all newfound compassion for others and forget the lessons newly learned.
We look to the outstretched paw of Anubis, the wise way shower jackal and see him
or any other trusted guide known by individuals for we have not been abandoned by the Creator.
Well the end is yet so far from our knowing, we are asked to heal within and remember
remember the truth of the ancient ones that we have been taught for eons and not forgotten.
As above, so it shall be below, balance and harmony shall always exist throughout time.
While it takes a toll through the imperfection in unbalanced times that we walk it shall be again
put right as things of dark nature shall be read balanced and reconciled by the end of our long journey.
Anubis reminds us to get up and leave the oasis for it is necessary and the journey not complete.
Follow his footsteps I encourage for as the jackal allows none to fall into despair or become lost.
Anubis knows the way across the sands of time and teaches us to trust the journey despite adversity.
And he promises that the moon, sun and stars are eternal; nor do they abandon us here below.
They, too, remind us by lighting our way toward new truths, ever enduring and untarnished
Despite many months in which we have been imprisoned by an invisible enemy, uncertainty and fear.
Anubis reminds us that love is the energy of human resilience and the key to moving forward now.
Despite the fear that has darkened our world, if we remember the Sun also rises as does the moon.
And today the seasons are in balance once more as we are granted this moment to rest at the oasis.
Together we breathe as one and remember the lesson of Anubis, the way shower, do not look down
but for only a moment to find the path and then lift your eyes, breathe deeply and walk forward.

PART II: Oh, Great Desert-wise Jackal, Anubis/Anpu, our most ancient way-shower; guardian of the onward lifepath. We welcome you always, especially in our time of darkest fears and tribulations; all haunting our days and invading our dreams. Your very appearance elicits courage within at the mere sight of your midnight fur glistening as a cloak woven with strands of the night sky, embellished with refracted moonlight and the scattering of diamonds formed from dew fallen in starlight from the arcing Sky-Nile, the eternal pathway across a sapphire Above. In answer to the heart beating its subtle call, you come as swiftly as the forming of a single thought. Your recognizable vitality in living image to mind and inner senses where I recognize your canid elegance with rippling musculature that mimics the silver-crested currents of Earth-Nile, the eternal watery pathway of Below. As I mentally greet you, I noted that your eyes are usually jade reflecting pools of compassion and wisdom, but today they flash with red that seem warning of some danger afoot . . . thus, I must wonder why?
Then … I remember. Truly, you have come because so many hearts call out for truthful guidance even as our words act as smoke wafting to Neteru hearts. Once again, my needful sigh reached your alertly pricked jackal ears and entered then into your willing heart ready to offer guidance always to those who feel lost. We eagerly entrust our darkest worries into your hands (or paws) and promise trust as we follow your wise leadership for we must walk forth in a new way; upon an unknowable path without aid of map or lit lantern to show how unimaginably the landscape is changing even before each step is taken. Sometimes I feel frozen in place as if the prey of some invisible and loudly snarling carnivorous beast, named FEAR; other times, the beast is more terrifying when the tone turns cruelly wispy and seethes with liquid threats of unthinkable atrocities lying in wait for those stumbling through this ignorance-imposed dark time. Yet, we are reminded that there is no real need to remain as such prey or hopeless against the desires of the fear-beast for it seeks to keep us fearful of stepping wrong, breaking bones or spirit and stumbling into the ditch its long claws have etched alongside our path forward . , , nor shall it cause us tripping into the stinking water to drown in pure ignorance, choking in airless horror of the untamable virus running amok and leaving too many lives hurting with irreparable effects from its touch or even ended in death in its wake. Should we give in to it and ignore the possibilities that blow on the winds of real change rather than surrendering to hopelessness and confusion and sinking into the quicksand of falsehoods, ignorance and untruths of every imaginable kind?
While Anubis has been like the tallest lighthouse with a gaze that cuts the thickest fog and guides me safely past the rocky shoreline many times. Today as I clairvoyantly saw and sensed him again, it seemed like he came as a fresh breeze and impressed my mind with his promise or intent to guide any brave enough to entrust their hand into his proffered hand/paw; heeding the directives offered in his refreshing way of truthfulness reflecting in a grimace suggestive of canine encouragement to follow. Even as we seem glued to seats or astraddle horses on some horror show type merry-go-round ever turning in repeating cycles of disastrous incidents and deceitful images, the ideal awaits for us to heed the archetype Anubis as the ancient way-shower and allow him to guide us toward restoration of the peace and thus a braver-lived future.
